I’d like to start this blog with a very exciting announcement: Overland Storage’s Partner Program, FastTrack, has just been awarded a 5-Star rating by CRN.
This elite ranking within the Program Guide is recognized as major accolade due to the visibility it has in the channel. Choice buzz words like “definitive listing” of vendors that supply the IT channel keep coming up in conversation, and every time I hear it, it makes me proud. Not only because this is the first time that our FastTrack Partner Program has received this honor, but also because 2012 was an amazing year of channel development for us with new product releases, revenue successes and record partner growth. It was all there and more. Beyond that, every day at Overland Storage is measured by what we’ve done throughout the year to make our channel partners as successful as possible. For us, that starts with our core competencies of FastTrack; and that’s the foundation of this CRN win.
I stand by our commitment that we are 100% dedicated to our channel, so 2012 marked the year that we stayed tied to making sure that our partners were more armed than ever with information. In short, we can’t win if they don’t win. To continue our momentum, we added additional field sales resources to help close opportunities and delivered new storage and data management solutions that really resonated with our partner base. We produced more videos, PartnerCasts, on-demand learning, seminars and competitive documentation then I ever could have imagined. It was great guidance from our partners that started us on that path, and it was the consistent feedback that they liked what they were seeing that kept us going.
Assuredly, this win is a big deal. I am proud of what we were able to accomplish last year, and this is a perfect opportunity to express my gratitude to our resellers – – all over the globe. It’s your partnership that drives Overland to do more. More importantly, it’s what keeps us tuned in to delivering new technologies and the support needed to grow our business together. Award or not, I’m looking forward to developing more together in 2013.
…but I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I really do enjoy it more with an award.
